Nothing goes to the buyer until you approve the draft. Flagged lines wait for you, and you can fix any line before you approve.
What Orderseam handles
- XXS to 6XL, plus sizes 0X to 4X, S/M and L/XL, petite and tall
- Women’s 00 to 24 and 16W, denim 32x30, suits 40R and 42L, bras 34B, half sizes
- Baby Preemie to 24M, toddler 2T to 5T and kids’ 4-5, 6X and 7-8, sorted smallest first
- Ship window and cancel date onto the draft, with a too-tight cancel date flagged against your lead time
- Revised POs update the existing draft and show what changed
It works with POs as PDFs, Excel, Word or CSV files, email text and phone photos, and alongside the wholesale or B2B app you already use. From an approved order it can also make the Net-terms invoice and send payment reminders. See how it works.
What your store needs
Products with Color and Size options and a SKU on each variant, plus your wholesale prices. Prepacks can be your own variant or a size ratio we set up with you. Our team sets up the matching with you, including the nicknames your buyers use.
Not handled yet
- EU, UK or IT sizes on a US-sized store are flagged for you, never converted.
- 1X and XL, or 28W and 28, are kept as different sizes on purpose.
- EDI orders from department stores.
Anything Orderseam can’t read with confidence is flagged for you, never guessed. The full list for every category is on our home page.
How we test it
Apparel was first and has the most testing: 7 sample POs sent as PDFs, spreadsheets, emails and a phone photo, with 179 size lines including prepacks and a revised PO. All 179 match today. It’s our own test set of made-up orders, rerun on every change, not customer results. Read more about how we test.
Common questions
- Can Orderseam read a size grid?
- Yes. Each filled cell in a style × color × size grid becomes its own line on the Shopify draft order, in your size order, smallest first. Blank cells are skipped.
- How are prepacks handled?
- A prepack written as a ratio, like “3 prepacks 1-2-2-1”, is multiplied out into pieces per size. If you sell named prepacks, like Prepack A, we set up what each one contains with you.
- What happens when a store sends a revised PO?
- The revised PO updates the draft order you already have instead of making a second one, and shows you which lines changed.
